The Interstitial Arts Foundation
Next IAF Event
Music

To celebrate the release of our second anthology of interstitial fiction, the Interstitial Arts Foundation is planning an auction of portable art to coincide with the book's release. But since we're interstitial artists and know no borders, we didn't want to leave musicians, DJs, and vocal artists out of the party.

Auctioning a piece of music won't quite work; instead, we're asking that musical artists donate a song or mix to the IAF that we sell exclusively during the auction (in November and December 2009) and non-exclusively through our website afterwards. Songs will be sold individually as downloads and grouped as an EP or LP for download and as a limited edition CD.

As with the auction, we're asking for songs and mixes based on one of the stories in the Interfictions anthologies. Please submit original works or mixes that use publicly available music (to avoid any sticky legal issues!).

For more information on how to participate, please check out the Music section of IAFAuctions.com at http://iafauctions.com/interfictions-2/interfictions-music/. All musical submissions must be in by October 10, 2009 to be included in this year's project.

For examples of some of our favorite interstitial music, please visit the Music page in our Recommendations section.
