Hey Chipper, Mr. Anderson
That’s Guy, not Garry,
or Gary or even Garie,
Wants us to dialog in Haiku?
Wait . . . . We can explain!
The IAF Annex presents a new original short story each week (leading up to the November publication of our genre-spanning anthology Interfictions 2). This week we’re pleased to bring you “The Chipper Dialogues” by Ron Pasquariello: 2 running columns of dialogue/haiku between the author and, well– Ron writes:
This story is snippets of the interspecies conversations that go on between canine and human, structured by a series of haiku verses, crossing and recrossing the line between story and verse. Ron is a gabby guy, and spends a lot of time talking to Chipper about the ups and downs of his life.

Hats off to webmaster Geoff Long for getting the story up in 2 simultaneous columns in 2 different typefaces! I know it’s easy when you know how . . . but to me, it still looks like magic!
